Stefan Huth, M.A. | Architect

Stefan Huth is an architect and has been combining his professional practice with scientific research for many years. He has in-depth knowledge in the areas of photovoltaic-integrated façade systems, energy-efficient construction, life cycle assessment and project management. He also has extensive experience in algorithm-aided design as well as architectural design and its realisation - including constructive elaboration and detailed implementation planning.
In the FLEX research group, he supports projects focussing on resource-efficient construction methods and takes on tasks at the project management level. He has been a research assistant at the Leipzig Institute of Architecture (ai:L) for over ten years, where he is responsible for the processing and coordination of research projects in his role as team leader. He also supports research teams at the Faculty of Architecture and Social Sciences (FAS) with overarching tasks in research management and the acquisition of third-party funding.
In addition to his academic work, he works as a freelance architect in all HOAI service phases and is a member of the Saxony Chamber of Architects.
